Does Kisses detect spyware?
Sort of. Kisses will detect and allow you to reveal programs that are hidden. If BlackBerry specific spyware is deployed on your phone, then it is more than likely that it will make use of the CodeModuleGroup API call to hide itself. Kisses can detect programs hidden in this manner. Kisses can also detect programs not found by using the BlackBerry API's getVisibleApplications. Lastly, Kisses shows you all the running processes on your handheld. It allows you to drill down and see additional information on the process. Thus, if you look through all processes and find a suspicious looking module that you didn't download, then you can immediately take action to remove it.
