Didn't you write PhoneSnoop?
I did indeed! I wrote PhoneSnoop to demonstrate some of the ways in which a BlackBerry device can be programmed to 'spy' on its owner. I released it free so that more users can get their hands on it and see what it does. The more familiar you are with something, the better prepared you are to recognize something similar in the future. Please note that PhoneSnoop is a proof-of-concept application. It does not exercise any of the features of stealth. Thus, it cannot hide itself from view, has a rather pretty icon and does not mute the call when a call comes in.
